RNA - Addressing a congregation of worshippers in Tehran on Friday, Ayatollah Seyed Ahmad Khatami said the PGCC’s decision to designate Hezbollah as a so-called terror organization was exactly in obedience to Israel’s orders and a move aimed at normalizing ties with the Zionist regime of Tel Aviv.
The cleric also cautioned the PGCC members not to be misled by the Israeli regime, or they will have to face the same destiny.
“Hezbollah has been a thorn in the side of the Zionist regime. Lebanon owes its security to the resisting, courageous and diligent Hezbollah,” he added.
Ayatollah Khatami then deplored the PGCC members for playing the role of “very little servants of the US and the Zionist regime,” stressing that the Arab governments will receive a harsh response from their nations for that partnership.
The Arab monarchies of the Persian Gulf on Wednesday declared Hezbollah movement, which has been fighting terrorist groups in Syria and the Israeli occupation, a “terrorist group.”
The six-nation council officially added Hezbollah and all groups affiliated to its so-called list of terrorist organizations.
